He thinks that Griffin’s association with a 9-year-old report on space-based ABM interceptors somehow discredits him. And yet he completely misses the fact that Griffin actually _ran_ several space-based interceptor demonstration projects in the 1980s. It’s an unfair attempt to cast aspersions on the man, and implies that the writer does not know his own subject very well.
