Now with the beginnings of commercial human access to space just beginning, I don’t think it’s possible to predict the next 5 years. Innovation is finally hitting the space biz.

During the last century it wasn't too hard to predict the long term future of manned space activities, out 10 to 20 years. Now with the beginnings of commercial human access to space just beginning, I don't think it's possible to predict the next 5 years. Innovation is finally hitting the space biz. Sometime in this century there will be the space equivalent of CES for the space travel market. At that point, will anyone much care what the heads of agencies say?
