Republicans said that it made no sense to not factor in the sequester. The Budget deal resolves this issue for FY 2014 and FY 2015. Having said that, the House Democrats’ version of the NASA Authorization was even worse than the Republican version. It had even more pork and even more anti-commercial crew and anti SAAs provisions. The Senate version of the bill is much better than either versions that were proposed in the House.
