		<description><![CDATA[Actually, both Streusand and Babin have made their positions clear on the campaign trail.  Babin considers the space program essential for a number of reasons and would prioritize protecting and funding the U.S. space program and the JSC.  Streusand takes a different approach and supports privitization of NASA rather than federal funding and wants to help a California company, SpaceX, do more work at the JSC by offering them tax breaks so they don&#039;t have to compete with Lockhead Martin and Boeing for space contracts.
